Michelle Voss, Associate Professor and Ronnie Ketchel Faculty Fellow was recently featured in the  The New York Times' article "How Exercise Strengthens Your Brain" written by Dana G. Smith. 

Dr. Voss' Health, Brain,  and Cognition Lab focuses on research that "examines how health and health behaviors sustain our thinking and memory through positive effects on our brain as we age, and how these thinking and memory abilities impact how we change health behaviors to support healthy aging".

In the article, Dr. Voss highlights how "physical activity is one of the health behaviors that’s shown to be the most beneficial for cognitive function and reducing risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia."
